Animated training video maker: an AI director that drafts the film, you edit it
Updated 28 October 2026
What to look for
- A cast that stays the same. The same receptionist in the onboarding video and in next month's privacy video.
- Voices on a timeline. Each character's own voice, each line placed at its second.
- Your look. Logo, colours, fonts, and pictures that look like your premises.
- Fix one thing. Change a hand, a sign or a background without the whole picture changing.
- One export. A finished video file, nothing to assemble elsewhere.

Where Nima Learn differs
| Feature | What you see |
|---|---|
| A director, not a prompt box | you talk to it on every page: make the doctor grumpier, cut this scene in two, add a reaction shot |
| Plan, Design, Storyboard | the scenes as a table, the cast and places, every shot's picture and timeline |
| Edit in place | circle part of a picture and say what to change; split it into layers and move, resize, swap |
| A cast that stays | characters built once with their poses, reused across shots and videos |
| Two kinds of motion | camera moves, highlights and on-screen text drawn in seconds; a video model only where people need to move |
| Dialogue on a timeline | click the timeline, pick who speaks, type the line, record the take |
| Your look | a brand folder, and a look: paper-cut, corporate flat, photoreal or illustrated |
| Music for the film | a cue made for the film's mood and length |
| One export | an mp4 with the takes, music and text in place |
How to start
- Paste the brief. The policy, the procedure or the situation you want people to handle. Nima Learn's director, an AI assistant you talk to, drafts the plan: the scenes, the shots, who is in them, the places and the lines.
- Fix the plan. Reorder or retime the scenes, cut one in two, ask for a reaction shot. The plan is the thing you edit, and a change to it redraws the storyboard.
- Approve the cast and the places. Each character is built once and reused in every shot. Add your brand folder (logo, fonts, colours) and photos of the real place if you want the film to look like your branch, clinic or plant.
- Walk the storyboard. Circle any part of a picture and say what to change; the rest of the picture stays put. Write the lines on the shot's timeline and drag them to their second.
- Choose the motion per shot. Camera moves, highlights and on-screen text are drawn in seconds; full character movement is rendered by a video model only on the shots that need it.
- Record, preview, export. Every line is voiced as a take, music is made for the film, and the export is one mp4.
Common questions
What is the best animated training video maker?
It depends on what you make. For scenes with recurring characters in your company's look, drafted from a brief, Nima Learn. For a talking presenter, an AI avatar tool. For simple scenes you assemble yourself, a template tool.
Can AI make animated training videos?
Yes. Nima Learn's director drafts the plan, the cast, the pictures and the lines from your brief; you edit and export.
Do the characters stay the same across videos?
In Nima Learn, yes: each character is built once with a set of poses and reused across shots and videos.
Does it export to my LMS?
Nima Learn exports an mp4, which most learning platforms accept as a video item.
